About Save The Nation

Learn about our organization, mission, and commitment to creating lasting change

Organizational Background

Save The Nation is a women-led, multicultural South Sudanese non-profit organization founded in 2020 by concerned South Sudanese in response to the worsening living conditions across the country. Legally registered under the National Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (Reg. No. 3,218), the organization is committed to supporting communities affected by conflict, displacement, disasters and chronic poverty. We believe that after decades of conflict, South Sudanese deserve access to peace, dignity, and prosperity. Our work is rooted in community resilience, equity, and justice.

Our leadership is driven by young professionals from diverse ethnic and regional backgrounds, bringing innovation, agility, and deep community trust to our work. While youth empowerment is our strategic focus, our programs serve all vulnerable groups—women, children, returnees, and displaced populations—through inclusive, community-based approaches grounded in dignity, equity, and sustainability.

Our Mission

To reduce human suffering and enhance dignity through peacebuilding, economic empowerment, and community-led recovery initiatives —particularly women, youth, and displaced persons

Every day, our dedicated team works to translate this mission into concrete actions that improve lives and communities.

Our Vision

To build resilient, peaceful, and empowered communities across South Sudan, especially those affected by conflict and disasters.

We envision a future where every individual in South Sudan has equal opportunities to thrive and reach their full potential.
