Overview

Access to clean water and safe sanitation remains a major challenge in many parts of South Sudan, contributing to preventable diseases and high child mortality rates. Our WASH program works to improve public health outcomes by expanding access to safe water sources and promoting proper hygiene practices. We aim to reduce waterborne diseases while restoring dignity and safety, particularly for women and children who are disproportionately affected by poor sanitation conditions.

The program focuses on drilling and rehabilitating boreholes, constructing sanitation facilities, and establishing handwashing stations in schools and communities. Alongside infrastructure development, we conduct hygiene promotion campaigns to encourage behavioral change and sustainable health practices. Community members are trained to manage and maintain water facilities to ensure long-term functionality. By combining infrastructure, education, and local ownership, we create sustainable improvements in community health and wellbeing.
